Angela Webster Physiotherapist

After the pandemic we saw record rises in work loss whilst occupational and clinical care had record rises in remote transactions.

Joint Works was founded by Angela Webster as a Physio lead, specialist MSK and OH provider with a  hands on and customer focussed  approach.

 

We travel on-site and are based in London and the South East.

Angela gained her physiotherapy degree at Sheffield Hallam University in 1993 and MSc in neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation at UCL in 1999. She is one of a handful of Physiotherapists who has gained the highest level of memberships for both the Musculoskeletal Association (MACP) and the Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE)  Associations of Chartered Physiotherapists.Angela lead a musculoskeletal outpatient team in the NHS before moving to London Underground's Occupational Health Team in 2002. Angela's experience of 20 years within a multidisciplinary in-house OH Team developed her understanding of the challenges of manual workers, safety critical roles, driving roles, standing roles and office/hybrid workers and Display Screen Equipment.

 

Angela has led and participated in  research predicting work outcomes for low back pain, work based condition management programmes, a participatory ergonomics approach for train drivers and workplace wellbeing interventions. 

Angela continues to be active in the CSP, MACP and ACPOHE.
